Coffee is a daily ritual, a break for solitary meditation or social interaction, a cultural and multicultural phenomenon, a time for exchanging feelings, ideas and stories.
Dipped in Coffee
The group of young artists attending the Scuola Superiore d’Arte Applicata del Castello Sforzesco (Castello Sforzesco School of Applied Arts) in Milan looked at coffee as their source of inspiration for creating a series of engravings, illustrations, comics, paintings and installations.
Since 1882, the Scuola Superiore d’Arte Applicata del Castello Sforzesco in Milan has been teaching visual languages, both traditional and contemporary: fresco, mosaic, glass art, painting, engraving and printing, tapestry, illustration, comic art and graphic design. It’s a workshop-school where people work together creating a network of relationships and connections. But mostly it’s a community of people who share a passion for the applied arts.
